Tamra Raven, Producer
Tamra has produced a variety of film, documentary and television projects including programming for A&E, ABC, AMC, The Biography Channel, The History Channel, VH1, Court TV, TLC, MTV, Sportskool and Oxygen. Her documentary “Rats to Roses” won a 2005 Telly Award, a Showtime award and was also nominated for a NY Emmy. She also won a separate Telly Award for a campaign she produced for MetroTV/MSG. Additionally, Tamra has produced and edited worldwide travel documentaries in high definition for EquatorHD. Recently Tamra produced a web-series for Procter & Gamble about wildlife rescue. As a producer for the edit house Mad Mad Judy, she worked on feature videos, television programs and commercials for clients such as Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Oxygen Media, Priceline.com, Minolta, MSG and The Grammy Awards.

 

Tamra supervised production for the Trimark film “The Blood Oranges” and has held production roles on more than eleven feature films, including “The Devil's Advocate” and “Pushing Tin.” In 2000, Tamra founded Out of the Dirt Productions, a media company whose mission is to bring awareness to environmental, health and social issues. Additionally, Tamra is a member of the advisory board that founded the first media high school in New York City.
